Jangseung - Protector

In ancient Korea, pillar-like structures with various faces were built at the entrances of villages to keep the people safe. These structures, called Jangseung, matched with my different personas. During one hot summer day, I traveled to the beautiful countryside of Korea to capture the different faces of Jangseungs with my camera, forming a connection between the Jangseung and me.
