Portraits for Elders

In the summer of 2021, I discovered a meaningful way to utilize my photography skills for a charitable cause. The opportunity presented itself for me to contribute by taking portrait photos of elderly individuals in my community who were less fortunate. These seniors, possibly due to their life experiences or personal challenges, were sometimes challenging to work with regarding communication or positioning for the photographs. But, I approached the situation with genuine warmth and friendliness, as if I were their grandchild. This approach made them more at ease, allowing me to capture their images more effectively and in a manner that showcased their unique personalities and stories.
